Happy Mother's Day,
My mom passed away over twenty years ago, but there has never been a day that I have not thought about her. I was (and am) a very lucky man. Here is a picture of one of the two hawks that have been hanging around at the marsh near the house. One of these days, I will see him or her before they see me. I hope you like it.

Day Eight: 365 Day Photo Project
Hello Everybody,
Do you think it is easy taking new pictures and posting them every day for a year? Do you? Well, I have to tell you, it's not that bad. I carry my little point and shoot with me wherever I go now. I do spend a lot of time in the woods or on the rail trail with the dogs. There are plenty of photo ops in this area. I am also thinking about time lapse photography and other techniques that are interesting to try. At some point, I think I will take only black and white photos or some street scenes. Again, thank you for checking in. I will be posting tomorrow. I can't break the streak now.
